Privacy Concerns using Discord

I am concerned with my privacy while using this software.
In order to be notified via Discord, why does OPOD need access to:
1. Access my avatar and banner
2. Read all of my messages
3. Know what servers I'm in
4. Join servers for me
5. Join group DMs for me
6. Manage entitlements
???
You should only need access to my username; everything else is too invasive.
